Baseball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Central and Clearfield have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Dragons fell 6-3 to the Bison. The Dragons have struggled against the Bison recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Kyle Klotz was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Troy McNichol, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Clearfield, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Penns Valley Area on the 12th. As for Clearfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Bellefonte on the 12th.
