Baseball Game Preview: St. Charles North North Stars vs. Glenbard North Panthers

For the second straight game, St. Charles North will face off against Glenbard North. The North Stars will head out to take on the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. St. Charles North is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

On Friday, St. Charles North got the win against Glenbard North by a conclusive 10-1.

The team relied heavily on Mason Netcel, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, three doubles, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Langdon Straub also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: St. Charles North kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive matches.

St. Charles North's win bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Glenbard North, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-15.
