Soccer Recap: Green Mountain Union Takes a Loss

Green Mountain Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-1 to the Mill River Minutemen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Mill River this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Green Mountain Union's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Mill River, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Green Mountain Union is set to challenge their familiar foe Twin Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Mill River will face off against rival Otter Valley at 4:00 p.m. on October 8.
