Volleyball Recap: Sage Hill Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Sage Hill was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Gahr on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lightning took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Foothill Knights on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lightning of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2021.

While Sage Hill ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 21-25, 25-18.

Sage Hill's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Foothill, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Coming up, Sage Hill will head out to square off against South at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Foothill, they will be playing at home against Trabuco Hills at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
