Soccer Recap: Springdale Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Springdale can now relate to. They fell just short of the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Springdale were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bishop Guilfoyle apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Springdale moved to 5-4-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Bishop Guilfoyle, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 22-1.

Springdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Guilfoyle, they will challenge Faith Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
