Softball Recap: Slocomb's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

After a string of three wins, Slocomb's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (7-6), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Slocomb saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Calie Seay, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Molly Mcgowan was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Slocomb's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Dale County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-10.

Slocomb has already played their next game (against Providence Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Dale County, they have also already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against Charles Henderson on the 10th.
