Baseball Recap: Mission Viejo Gets the Win

Mission Viejo won the last time they faced El Toro and things went their way on Friday too. The Diablos came out on top against the Chargers by a score of 8-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Diablos.

Mission Viejo got a big performance out of Jack Boucher, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Max Osika, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Mission Viejo now has a winning record of 11-10. As for El Toro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.

Coincidentally, Mission Viejo and El Toro will both be playing Trabuco Hills the next time they take the field. The Chargers will head out to face the Mustangs at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, while the Diablos will host them at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
