Basketball Recap: Cleveland Takes a Loss

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Grand Oaks Grizzlies, falling 77-43. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 80-32 back in November of 2024.

Cleveland's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Grand Oaks, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

Cleveland will host Willis at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grand Oaks, they will head out to challenge College Park at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as College Park comes in on four and Grand Oaks on six.
