George Edwards posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out five batters over four innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
