Raritan lost to Lacey Township back in April of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Rockets were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Lions. The result was nothing new for the Rockets, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Holly Bellofatto, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Julia DelMasto, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.

Raritan pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Lacey Township, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-6.

When Raritan and Lacey Township next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Rockets will face off against Holmdel and their three-game winning streak at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Raritan 2, the Hornets 2.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Lacey Township will try to stop Barnegat's five-game winning streak when they meet at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
