Andrew Alford went supernova for Central, throwing for 340 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.0 yards per attempt. A healthy portion of that aerial production (158 yards to be exact) went to Daylyn Upshaw, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Vestavia Hills' loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Central, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.

Vestavia Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central, they are on the road again on Friday to play Hoover at 7:00 p.m. Hoover will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Central surely won't give up without a fight.
