Moffat County wins going away against Middle Park

Recap: Moffat County Bulldogs vs. Middle Park Panthers

The Moffat County Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They strolled past Middle Park with points to spare, taking the game 69-52. That looming 69-52 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Moffat County yet this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Moffat County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ian Champ hafey, who scored 26 points along with eight rebounds. The matchup was Champ hafey's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryant Carlson, who scored 19 points along with eight assists and six rebounds.

The victory got Moffat County back to even at 4-4. As for Middle Park, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moffat County will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Coal Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on January 6, 2024. As for Middle Park, they will head out on the road to face off against Battle Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
