Softball Game Preview: Page Sand Devils vs. Snowflake Lobos

The Page Sand Devils will venture away from home to square off against the Snowflake Lobos at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Page is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Page lost 12-2 to South Summit on Saturday.

Meanwhile, while Snowflake put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Round Valley. The Lobos came out on top in a nail-biter against the Elks, sneaking past 2-0. That's two games straight that the Lobos have won by exactly two runs.

The result came thanks to Kashlynn Cantrell's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kelsey Scarbrough, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Snowflake hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Round Valley struck out eight times.

The win made it two in a row for Snowflake and bumps their season record up to 6-5. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for Page, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-1.

Page came up short against Snowflake when the teams last played back in March of 2025, falling 6-2. Can the Sand Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
