Softball Game Preview: Capac Chiefs vs. Armada Tigers

The Capac Chiefs are taking a road trip to challenge the Armada Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Capac has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with 16 straight losses, while Armada will come in with six straight wins.

Capac lost 14-4 to Deckerville on Tuesday.

Capac saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karina R, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Lily U also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Armada was not the first on the board on Wednesday, but they got there more often. They were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over Clarkston. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Armada's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Capac, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-14.

Capac might still be hurting after the 23-1 loss they got from Armada in their previous meeting back in April. Can the Chiefs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
