Basketball Recap: Norton Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Norton couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were beaten by the Scott Beavers 71-41 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bluejays have suffered since February 4th.

Several Bluejays players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyce Melvin, who posted ten points. Eli Jones was another key player, going 5-for-11 on his way to 13 points.

Norton's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Scott, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-4.

As of now, neither Norton nor Scott have any future games scheduled.
