Basketball Recap: Pflugerville Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Pflugerville faced off against Pflugerville Connally on Tuesday. The Pflugerville Panthers fell just short of the Pflugerville Connally Cougars by a score of 52-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Panthers have suffered against the Cougars since December 17, 2021.

Leading Pflugerville Connally to victory were Anthony Phagans and Joshua Doe. Phagans went 8-for-18 to rack up 23 points, while Doe went 6-for-11 on his way to 19 points and seven rebounds. That's the most points Phagans has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of CJ Anderson, who had six points and five boards.

Pflugerville's defeat dropped their record down to 18-14. As for Pflugerville Connally, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 23-12.

As of now, neither Pflugerville nor Pflugerville Connally have any future games scheduled.
