Basketball Game Recap: Crooms Academy Panthers vs. Crescent City Raiders

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Crooms Academy Panthers, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They took a 55-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders on Monday. Crooms Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Crescent City apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.

Crooms Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayden Aristile, who scored 19 points along with three steals. Aristile has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Parker, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and four steals.

This is the second loss in a row for Crooms Academy and nudges their season record down to 9-11. As for Crescent City, their win bumped their record up to 5-17.

Crooms Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Crescent City also has no future games currently scheduled.
