Volleyball Recap: Forestburg Starts Season with Victory Against Tishomingo

Forestburg had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Tishomingo Indians on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Longhorns, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Forestburg walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 23-25, 25-18.

Brenna Briles paced Forestburg's offense, picking up 20 kills. Briles got some help from Jocelyn Rich and her 22 assists. Briles was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

Forestburg has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Electra on the 15th. As for Tishomingo, they will head out to square off against North Rock Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
