Volleyball Recap: Mound-Westonka White Hawks vs. Andover Huskies
Mound-Westonka was the 2-1 winner over Andover when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The White Hawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies on Saturday.
Andover can attribute much of their success to Katelyn Eisinger, who had nine assists and four aces. Those four aces gave Eisinger a new career-high.
Mound-Westonka has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Andover, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-12.
Mound-Westonka has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Robbinsdale Armstrong on the 13th. As for Andover, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Spring Lake Park on the 11th.
