Baseball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Highland hit Roosevelt with a four-run fifth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rough Riders fell 6-3 to the Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-3 loss on Tuesday.

Roosevelt saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tristyn Page, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Highland, their record now sits at 15-3.

Looking ahead, Roosevelt will host Ravenna at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Highland, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Cuyahoga Falls at 5:00 p.m.
