Palm Harbor University gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They never let the Tarpon Springs Spongers get on the board and left with a 20-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hurricanes also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Emma Shipley, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. What's more, she posted three hits, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jessica Baker, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.

Palm Harbor University always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tarpon Springs only posted an OBP of .154.

Palm Harbor University has already played their next game, a 13-7 victory against Northeast on the 21st. As for Tarpon Springs, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-3 defeat against Clearwater on the 20th.
