Basketball Recap: Peck Triumphs

Peck's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They slipped by the North Huron Warriors 42-41. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Peck was led to victory by Thomas West and Cal Heiden. West went 7 for 17 en route to 20 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Heiden went 5 of 12 on his way to 13 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. West is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played.

With the victory, Peck broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-9. As for North Huron, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.

Peck has already played their next matchup (against All Saints Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. North Huron has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Akron-Fairgrove.
