Soccer Recap: Stargate School Comes Up Short

Stargate School lost against Colorado Academy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles came up short against the Mustangs, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Stargate School can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while Colorado Academy are ranked fourth).

Stargate School's loss dropped their record down to 6-6-2. As for Colorado Academy, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1-2.

Looking ahead, Stargate School will head out on the road to challenge Centaurus at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Stargate School's defense better be ready for this one: Centaurus have averaged an impressive 2.7 goals per game this season. Colorado Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
