Meanwhile, South Umpqua was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by Sutherlin and fell 48-8. The Lancers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-5.

South Umpqua's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Siuslaw, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-20.
