Bethesda Christian had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Victory Baptist Academy Patriots on Tuesday, sneaking past 31-29. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

When it comes to explaining why Victory Baptist Academy lost, don't look at Isaac Johnson. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds. Johnson has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 35 times he's played.

Bethesda Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Victory Baptist Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.
