The Father McGivney Catholic Griffins will challenge the Litchfield Purple Panthers at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Father McGivney Catholic has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Father McGivney Catholic will bounce into Saturday's match after beating Pana, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. In a tight game that could have gone either way, Father McGivney Catholic made off with a 57-56 victory over Pana. With that win, the Griffins brought their scoring average up to 50 points per game.

David Carroll continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 10 of 14 en route to 23 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Kolesa, who posted ten points and three steals.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Litchfield beat Hillsboro 53-47 on Thursday.

Litchfield's record is now 9-12. As for Father McGivney Catholic, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.
