Softball Recap: Gettysburg Takes a Loss

Gettysburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop McDevitt Crusaders. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly three runs.

Gettysburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Bishop McDevitt, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gettysburg will welcome Palmyra at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bishop McDevitt, they will face off against Red Land at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
