Baseball Recap: Sutton Takes a Loss

The Sutton Sammies came up short against the Doherty Memorial Hilanders on Wednesday and fell 4-1. The Sammies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sutton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Griffin Kisiel, who went 1-for-3 with one run. That run marked the first that Kisiel has scored this season.

Sutton's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Doherty Memorial, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coming up, Sutton will take on Blackstone-Millville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Doherty Memorial, they will be playing at home against Marlborough at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
