Soccer Game Preview: Mountain View vs. Provo

The Mountain View Bruins are taking a road trip to challenge the Provo Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Mountain View will bounce into Friday's match after beating Orem, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Bruins came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for Mountain View.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Provo ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Uintah 2-1. The win continues a trend for Provo in their matchups with Uintah: they've now won four in a row.

Giancarlo Galeas and Jared Cortes scored both of Provo's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Mountain View's record is now 8-9. As for Provo, their record now sits at 12-5.
