Volleyball Game Preview: Ballston Spa Scotties vs. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans

Ballston Spa is 0-10 against Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake since October of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Scotties will head out to challenge the Spartans at 4:15 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Ballston Spa got the win against Troy by a conclusive 3-0.

Meanwhile, Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake waltzed into their contest on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They came out on top against the Golden Eagles by a score of 2-0.

While Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-23.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake's win bumped their record up to 23-4-3. As for Ballston Spa, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Ballston Spa suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Scotties avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
