Football Recap: Northwest Halifax Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Northwest Halifax's offense. They were dealt a 38-0 defeat at the hands of the KIPP P Pride on Friday. The Vikings were not able to make up for their loss to the Pride from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Marsay Edwards threw for 40 yards. Daveion Richardson was his top target, picking up 40 receiving yards.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead KIPP P to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tamaues Person, who rushed for 101 yards and one touchdown on only 13 carries, and also picked up 39 receiving yards and one score. Person didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made six total tackles. Gearey Johnson was another key player, rushing for 41 yards and one TD.

This is the second loss in a row for Northwest Halifax and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for KIPP P, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
