Soccer Game Preview: St. John Bosco vs. Bishop Amat

The St. John Bosco Braves will square off against the Bishop Amat Lancers at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Wednesday, St. John Bosco and Schurr finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Bishop Amat's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against Edgewood. The result kept the Lancers happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

Their goal came courtesy of Angelo Cusaro, who's now up to two this season.

With that draw, Bishop Amat's record moves to 6-0-2. Meanwhile, St. John Bosco's record is now 3-1-3.

St. John Bosco skirted past Bishop Amat 1-0 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Does St. John Bosco have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bishop Amat turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
