Soccer Game Preview: Smoky Mountain vs. Tuscola

The Smoky Mountain Mustangs will head out to challenge the Tuscola Mountaineers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with ten consecutive losses for Smoky Mountain and six for Tuscola.

Smoky Mountain fell victim to East Henderson and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Tuscola came up short against West Henderson on Wednesday, falling 4-1. One reason for the loss might be Tuscola's aggressive play style: Stonewall Strickland and Kohl Rudd were both handed yellow cards.

Tuscola's goal came courtesy of Erick Raya, which was the first he's scored this season.

Smoky Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for Tuscola, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-1.
