Baseball Recap: City View Comes Up Short

City View lost against Bowie last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs came up short against the Jackrabbits, falling 10-2. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

City View saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colton Barnett, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

City View's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Bowie, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 10-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. City View will take on Jacksboro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last five games the Tigers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Bowie, they will challenge Holliday at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Jackrabbits surely won't give up without a fight.
