Bald Eagle Area is 8-2 against Penns Valley Area since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Rams at 7:00 p.m.

Bald Eagle Area's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Nora Eppley, who had 13 digs and three aces, and Kinsey Clark, who had ten digs. Eppley is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played.
Meanwhile, Penns Valley Area entered their tilt with Philipsburg-Osceola on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mountaineers.
Penns Valley Area walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 25-15.
Bald Eagle Area better keep an eye on Sydnie Dalton. She was instrumental in Penns Valley Area's win, getting 14 digs.
Penns Valley Area was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive matchups.
Penns Valley Area's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Bald Eagle Area, their loss dropped their record down to 23-7-2.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's match: Bald Eagle Area has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 8.6 aces per game. However, it's not like Penns Valley Area struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.3 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
