Football Recap: Braddock Takes a Loss

After flying high against Coral Park last Thursday, Braddock came back down to earth. The Bulldogs were outmatched by the Ferguson Falcons and fell 57-21. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

When it comes to explaining why Braddock lost on Friday, don't look at Jeremy Colon. Despite the final result, he rushed for 89 yards and one score on only seven carries, and also caught one TD. Colon's longest rush was for an impressive 68 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Braddock now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Ferguson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Braddock will host Coral Gables at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ferguson, they will welcome Miami Beach at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
