Olathe got their first taste of in-conference action on Thursday and they started things off strong. They put the hurt on the Grand Valley Cardinals with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Pirates as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.
Olathe walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13, 25-16.
