Lincoln has gone a perfect 5-0 against Decatur Eisenhower recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Railsplitters will host the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Decatur Eisenhower took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Lincoln, who comes in off a win.

Lincoln took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past Taylorville 2-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Lincoln who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 16-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Decatur Eisenhower came up short against Normal University on Tuesday and fell 2-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Pioneers: they've now lost nine in a row.

The final score came out to 25-3, 25-8.

Lincoln has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season. As for Decatur Eisenhower, their loss dropped their record down to 4-19.

Lincoln beat Decatur Eisenhower 2-0 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Will the Railsplitters repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
