Baseball Game Preview: Oak Hill Raiders vs. Lewiston Blue Devils

The Oak Hill Raiders are taking a road trip to take on the Lewiston Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Lewiston took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Oak Hill, who comes in off a win.

Oak Hill took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Winthrop, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Raiders came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ramblers on Wednesday, sneaking past 6-5. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Kolton Ouellette was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Ouellette was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Those hits marked the first that he has got this season.

In other batting news, Braden New was excellent, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Ryan Dubois, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Lewiston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Edward Little, falling 21-0.

Lewiston's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Oak Hill, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Oak Hill suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Lewiston in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
