Basketball Recap: Tinora Gets Big Victory over Higher-Ranked Miller City

Tinora won against Liberty Center last Saturday with 46 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Tinora Rams sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 46-43 victory over the Miller City Wildcats. The win was all the more spectacular given the Rams' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 168th, while the Wildcats are ranked 35th).

The victory made it two in a row for Tinora and bumps their season record up to 7-1. As for Miller City, their loss ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-1.

Tinora will welcome Antwerp at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Miller City has already played their next match, a 55-45 win against Paulding on the 28th.
