Baseball Recap: Magnolia Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Magnolia's offense. They fell just short of the Santiago Cavaliers by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Sentinels' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Magnolia saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabe Segura, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

Magnolia now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Santiago, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-10.

While Magnolia had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
