Football Recap: Plaquemine Green Devils vs. Livonia Wildcats

It's playoff time, and Plaquemine had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Livonia Wildcats 55-0 on Friday. Considering the Green Devils have won eight contests by more than 31 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Young rushed for 99 yards and three TDs on only eight carries while Collins rushed for 138 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Brennan Miles, who threw for 153 yards and three TDs.

Plaquemine was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 256 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Plaquemine's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB five times. That dominant display was truly a team effort as five different players picked up one apiece. Another thorn in Livonia's side was Roderick Bingham, who picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made five total tackles.
