Basketball Recap: East Hardy Falls Despite Big Games from Chloe Miller and Brooklynn Tinnell

East Hardy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Northern Garrett Huskies, falling 52-31. The Cougars were down 40-20 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

East Hardy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Brooklynn Tinnell, who posted 17 points, and Chloe Miller, who put up 12 points in addition to eight boards and three blocks. Tinnell's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points.

East Hardy now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Northern Garrett, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-8.

Looking ahead, East Hardy will head out on the road to face off against Pendleton County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Avery Townsend and Tinnell. Northern Garrett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
