Softball Recap: East River Falcons vs. Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks
East River had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks as they made off with a 12-1 victory. Katherine Sanchez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out 13 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.
