Baseball Recap: Warren Central Takes a Loss

Warren Central managed to slip by Pike the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warriors lost 17-6 to the Red Devils on Tuesday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dylan Thimpson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Jalen Townsend, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Warren Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Pike, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3-1.

While Warren Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
