Basketball Recap: Heath Comes Up Short

Heath was the 37-29 winner over Utica when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Heath Bulldogs took a 48-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Utica Redskins on Friday.

Despite the loss, Heath still got an impressive performance from Peyton Del Cecato, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards. That's the most boards Del Cecato has posted since back in January.

Heath's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Utica, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Heath didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 42-40 loss against Zanesville on the 10th. As for Utica, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 55-49 victory against Watkins Memorial on the 10th.
