Basketball Recap: Kennedy Knights vs. Ramapo Raiders

Kennedy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 55-43 to the Ramapo Raiders on Saturday. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2014.

Ramapo's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aj Greig led the charge by going 6 for 10 on his way to 17 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Wingfield, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 13 points and six rebounds.

Kennedy will take on Wayne Hills in a holiday battle at at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ramapo, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Bergen Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
