Randolph is a perfect 3-0 against Walthill since August of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cardinals will welcome the Blujays at 3:00 p.m. Randolph will be strutting in after a victory while Walthill will be coming in after a defeat.

Randolph took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 30-22 win over Lyons-Decatur Northeast.

Randolph relied on the efforts of Milo Rayford, who rushed for 165 yards and one score, and Ryan Engel, who rushed for 41 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Randolph was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 288 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in three consecutive games.

Walthill played against Wynot on Friday and lost via forfeit.

Randolph's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Walthill, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for Randolph against Walthill when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 44-12 win. In that matchup, the Cardinals amassed a halftime lead of 38-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
