Basketball Recap: Sundown Takes a Loss

If Sundown was feeling good fresh off their 66-23 takedown of Seagraves last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sundown Roughnecks were outmatched by the Ropes Eagles and fell 67-38. The Roughnecks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-8.

Sundown has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Ropes, they moved to 19-10 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Sundown will square off against Smyer at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ropes, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Morton at 6:15 p.m.
