Baseball Recap: Lancaster Mennonite Comes Up Short

Lancaster Mennonite fell victim to Pequea Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Braves, falling 11-0. The Blazers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Lancaster Mennonite saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reuben Gingrich, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Lancaster Mennonite's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Pequea Valley, their record is now 4-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lancaster Mennonite will face off against Northern Lebanon at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pequea Valley, they will challenge Brandywine Heights Area at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
